Then and Now: How Hollywood Stars Changed Over The Years

Matt Leblanc

American actor and producer Matt LeBlanc skyrocketed to fame for portraying Joey Tribbiani on the hit sitcom Friends from 1994 to 2004. After the show ended, he has since gone on to star in multiple television shows and movies, such as Lost in Space, Charlie’s Angels, and Man With a Plan.

Before LeBlanc landed prominence, he attended Boston’s Wentworth Institute of Technology to earn his college degree. However, he left shortly after the second semester to start his acting career. In the 1980s, the startup actor appeared in a couple of television commercials for companies like Coca-Cola and Heinz and music videos for Bon Jovi and Alanis Morissette. He then had the opportunity to star on his first TV gig, TV 101, although it only lasted one season. From there, he received his big break after he auditioned for the goofy “ladies’ man” Joey Tribbiani on Friends.
